Bookshelf

I'm a librarian, so, naturally, I love to read. I thought I would share with you the books I've read right after I'm done with them and give you a little review. Don't worry. No spoilers!

The last in the Divergent trilogy. It wasn't as good as the first two. It left more questions unanswered and plot lines undeveloped than it wrapped up. Overall, I was disappointed in this novel.

The last in the Gabriel's Inferno trilogy. Don't let the cover fool you; this is not some cheesy erotica book. It's about a graduate student and her professor who is her best friend's brother. She has been in love with him since she was 17, but he doesn't remember her. At first. It's really good. I was draw to it based on how immersed into the academic life the author takes the reader.

The classic from Albert Camus is a novel you have no excuse not to read. It's short but full of thought-provoking material. Pay attention to the syntax of the narrator and how it evolves by the end of the novel. That among many other devices and messages used by Camus.
